1) Know about the structure of the GMAT entrance test paper and various sections of the exam. Know about the time allotted in each section and the syllabus of each section.

2) Explore some MBA tutorial websites and from there try to download some practice papers. You will also get some application in the internet and you can easily install them into your computer. By installing these types of applications you will get familiar with the GMAT application.

3) Research in the internet about the cut offer scores in the previous years. Minimum cut off scores denotes the minimum marks required getting an admission in the premier business schools and with the previous scores you will get knowledge about how much you need to score to get the admission.

4) Quickly analysis the Analytical Writing (Essay) section of the GMAT exam. Do not give much stress while preparing for this section. Try to know about the taste and requirement of the GMAT board and write only according to it. You must give minimum amount of time for preparing this section and invest your time in other sections.

5) GMAT Exam is hard! Don't do the fault of considering it too easy and not appropriately preparing yourself before you take the exam, or you will the considerable amount you paid for filling the application form. Look into some GMAT Prep program to help you to attain your desired GMAT score. Different GMAT Coaching in Delhi have different options for the students. A student can make a fruitful choice by selecting his own required program. Going for the crash course option is not fruitful. Preparing for the GMAT exam takes at least 2 months of time and it is not a matter of single week or two.

6) Study each and every GMAT areas discretely, and in decent manner. The syllabus of the exam is mainly based on the fundamental topics that were taught in the school level. You can find good guidance about each topic in various tutorial books that are available in the market or you can arrange your own study material from the coaching institutes or from internet.

7) Stick to a perfect study plan for the exam. You must break your daily routine in to parts. In one part do all the study related work and in the second part do the practice of the question paper. If you think that you can do a lot of preparation in a single day, then it is not worthy. Rather you must invest some time to make the preparation all throughout two months’ time.

8) Try to give at least 3 practice mock tests before your appear for the actual GMAT exam.

9) Be acquainted of where your test center is situated and leave from home taking time in your hand.

10) Do not study too much before the exam date. This might give you less amount of sleep at night and you will feel sleepy during the test.
